A lead-generation system for a working Athens electrician
Express Electric Merkouris needed more than a brochure with a phone number on it — in a competitive local market, the site had to work as hard as the electricians it represents. Built in Next.js, it's structured around how people actually search for an electrician: by specific problem, and by specific neighborhood.

4.7★ on Google, from 183 reviews — pulled live from the Google Places API and linked straight to the business's own Google Maps listing.
What's actually built
- Nine dedicated service pages — home installations, commercial installations, ΥΔΕ certification, lighting fixtures, AC/appliance wiring, grounding and RCD checks, socket and switch replacement, ceiling fan installation — each targeting its own specific search intent instead of one page trying to rank for everything
- Around 25 separate location pages across Attica, so the business can rank neighborhood by neighborhood instead of competing city-wide on every search
- Direct-response CTAs throughout — click-to-call and a quote-request form, plus a persistent call bar on mobile that stays one tap away no matter how far the visitor has scrolled
- The real Google rating and review count placed right in the hero, linked to the actual Maps listing — a trust signal at the exact point of decision
- A projects/portfolio page and a blog/FAQ section for organic, long-tail content and ongoing authority-building
- The same consent-gated, privacy-conscious analytics approach used on kalotech.gr itself — nothing loads before a visitor consents
A custom content platform behind the site
This isn't a static brochure site — Express Electric runs on a custom-built admin panel that lets the business manage everything without needing a developer for routine changes.
- Full content control — services, location pages, blog posts, FAQ, projects, homepage content and site navigation, all editable from the dashboard
- Per-page SEO fields — meta title, meta description and canonical-friendly URL slugs (automatic or manually overridden) editable on every service and location page
- Image uploads with alt-text management, so new photos can be added without touching code
- Draft/publish control on blog posts, so content can be prepared ahead of time and published on schedule
- A leads dashboard — contact form submissions are stored in a real database, not just emailed and forgotten
- Secure, authenticated access — hashed passwords and bot-protected login, not a shared password in a spreadsheet
The rating and review numbers above are real and live. We don't publish invented traffic or conversion percentages — once enough analytics history has accumulated on the live site, this section will be updated with real, measured results.
